The Cardiothoracic Technology Symposium consists of didactic sessions, unique hands-on cadaver and animal laboratory experiences, a porcine cardiac wet lab, and endovascular simulation. Didactic components feature practical information from speakers who are acknowledged experts in their respective fields.
The opportunity to actually perform different techniques and use new technologies in the animal and cadaver lab, under the tutelage of faculty experts, separates the Cardiothoracic Technology Symposium from other cardiothoracic fellow courses.
